CaterZen SMS Terms

Last Updated: July 29, 2026

These SMS Terms describe the text messaging program operated by CaterZen ("CaterZen," "we," "us," or "our") in connection with CaterCall, our AI voice agent phone-answering service, on behalf of the restaurant, grocery, and catering businesses we serve (the "Program").

Program Description
When you call a business phone line powered by CaterCall and ask for information such as a menu, quote, or online ordering link, our AI voice agent may ask for your mobile phone number and your permission to text you that link. If you agree, you will receive a one-time text message containing the requested information.

Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. In most cases, you will receive no more than one text message per phone call in which you request one.

Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your text messaging plan.

Consent
By verbally providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive a text message during your call, you consent to receive that message. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

How to Opt Out
Reply STOP to any message at any time to stop receiving further text messages from this Program.

How to Get Help
Reply HELP to any message, or call us at 1-888-997-3433 for assistance.

Carrier Liability
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy
Your mobile number is only used to send the message you requested and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for more information.

How We Collect Consent (Verbal Opt-In)
Consent is collected verbally during a phone call you place to the business. If you ask about a menu, quote, or ordering link, our phone assistant may offer to text it to you. If you say yes, the assistant asks for your mobile number, reads it back to you digit by digit, and confirms you want the text sent to that number before sending anything. We only send the message after you give this explicit verbal confirmation. Texting is never required to place an order or speak with our team.

CaterZen Marketing Communications
Separately from the CaterCall program described above, CaterZen may send SMS communications — such as product updates, new features, training opportunities, or account notifications — to authorized contacts at businesses that use CaterZen's software. We only do this if the contact has opted in, either by checking an opt-in box on one of our website forms or as part of their organization's service agreement with CaterZen. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or get help by replying HELP.
