Introducing Custom Catering Label Printing To Enhance Operations

Recently we announced our partnership with Star Micronics so you'll be able to efficiently and professionally print your catering receipts.

Now, CaterZen has launched another catering software feature to enhance your printing capabilities:  custom label printing!

You've already been able to print labels onto a sheet with CaterZen’s catering software, but what if you wanted to easily print one label at a time, with customizable info on each label? Now you can!

Create Custom Catering Label Templates

Set up an unlimited number of templates for any kind of item to label! 

For example, you can create templates for:

• prep items for catering
• individual box lunches
• takeout items
• side items
• buffet items

You can customize the layout of a label template’s fields in a few ways:

• drag and drop the order of fields
• adjust the field's alignment and size
• add formatting like bold, italics or underline

In your kitchen production reports in your CaterZen account, you’ll see a label button on each item, which you can click to create your labels. You can choose to create a label for prep items, menu items, or even the individual modifier items, as well.

Once you've selected to create a label, you've got lots of flexibility, such as choosing:

• the label title
• whether to include special instructions
• how many labels to print

Plus, the labels print out sticky - there’s nothing to peel off!  So it’s super easy to adhere your label to anything as soon as its printed.
